Medical Missions

PCRF is the world's leading nonprofit sending volunteer medical teams into public hospitals in Palestine and Lebanon's refugee camps — treating children for free while training local doctors to carry that expertise forward.

Volunteer Medical Missions

Thousands of doctors and nurses from over a dozen countries donate their time each year to operate on children and train local medical staff in Palestine and Lebanon.

POET Program

Founded in 2014 at the Palestine Medical Complex, POET brings in visiting orthopedic surgeons to treat complex cases — club feet, hip dislocation, trauma — while building the skills of local surgeons.

Treatment Abroad Program

Since 1992, PCRF has sent over 2,000 children from across the Middle East to hospitals in the USA, Europe, and Asia for free treatment unavailable at home.

Pediatric Cancer & Cardiac Departments

PCRF has built and continues to run two of the only public pediatric oncology departments in Palestine, giving children with cancer access to care without crossing checkpoints or leaving home.

Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department

(Beit Jala Hospital, West Bank)

Palestine's first public cancer department for children, opened in 2013 in memory of PCRF's founding social worker. Includes a dedicated healing garden and ongoing staff training programs.

Gaza

Gaza's first and only pediatric oncology department, opened in 2019 with 16 rooms, a playroom, and a Make-A-Wish program for young patients.

Humanitarian Programs & Projects

One-Time Medical Sponsorship — Direct aid (medicine, braces, prosthetics) for children identified by our field workers as unable to access care due to poverty.
One-Time Surgery Sponsorship — Since 2024, funded over 1,020 surgeries — pediatric, urological, orthopedic, and more — for patients facing long public healthcare delays.
Volunteer-driven: donations go further because so much of our expertise is contributed free of charge.
Infrastructure Projects — Building and rehabilitating hospitals, generators, operating rooms, and community health facilities across Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon.

Gaza Orphan Sponsorship — Ongoing food, clothing, and medicine for children orphaned by conflict, with regular updates for sponsors.
Gaza Amputee Project — Care and mobility support — including prosthetics and mental health treatment — for children who lost limbs to violence or were born with limb differences.
Gaza Pediatric Mental Health Initiative — Group and individual therapy for children traumatized by violence, developed with Gaza's leading mental health partners.
